ITEM DESCRIPTION
This cropped battle dress–style jacket is made from heavy pure wool bouclé. The coulour is a vibrant kobalt blue, or royal blue. The design follows an original 1940s pattern and is rooted in British military outerwear of the period.
The jacket features a short, functional silhouette typical of wartime battle dress, with carefully reproduced vintage details: pleated shoulders for ease of movement, gussets under the arms, a characteristic 1940s collar, and a pleated back panel. Together, these elements reflect the practical tailoring of British army garments from the era.
This version is fully lined with gold-changeant taffeta jacquard, as shown in the last photo.
