This Ike jacket is made to an original 1940s pattern in sturdy mustard yellow canvas made from organic cotton.
These jackets all have a production mistake, they close right over left instead of left over right. For some that is not an issue at all, for others it might be, so that is the reason they can go for 50%. The original price was 249 Euro. If you don't care what side your buttons are it is a great opportunity to grab one of these stunning jackets.
Excellent jacket for a casual vintage style look. This iconic model was the basis for many workwear such as, among others, the British Army battle dress. The jacket has many vintage details such as pleated shoulders, an inset on the underarms for added convenience, a typical 1940s collar and a pleated detail on the back. For this version, we use a different lining than the one shown in the photos. The one we use now can be seen in close-up in the last photo. The cuffs and pocket flaps are also lined with this.
