SIZE INFORMATION:
Sizes are measurements of the waist in inches. Please measure to be sure, jeans sizes or chinos often have different sizing, you will need to size up 1 or 2 sizes. When measuring the waist, make sure you measure high enough, just below the ribs is the right place. Take a measuring tape or cord and pull it tight enough to be comfortable. Or use a belt that you fasten and measure it to find the right size.
LENGTH:
The inseam of the trousers is 33 inches, which may seem short but corresponds to 36-inch jeans. There is also plenty of fabric in the turn-ups. To lengthen or shorten ask my blog for DIY or find a tailor near you to help. They usually charge around €15 to €20 for it. Before shortening, my advice is to wash them first. Although I test my fabrics for shrinkage, it may be different in a different machine, hardness of water, different detergent, etc. Always leave enough fabric to lengthen them if necessary.
MATERIAL AND CARE:
Trousers: 100% wool, with 100% cotton poplin pockets. The wool is of EU origin and bought from overstock production. Waistcoat: front 100% wool, lining Acetate, back viscose taffeta
Dry clean only. Wool is dirt-repellent by nature. Remove stains carefully with a cloth and mild detergent. Hang it in fresh air occasionally. Take it to the dry cleaner occasionally or soak it gently in cold water with a wool detergent. Give it a short spin to let it dry. Be sure to pull it into shape before drying. Do not bleach, do not tumble dry. Do not wash in hot water.
